Digital Mammography '96 by K. Doi
This work documents the proceedings of a June 1996 workshop, which included computer-aided diagnosis, image processing, detector and system design, image display, observer performance, transmission and archiving, and clinical evaluation. Various papers address topics such as the effect of prompting mammographic abnormalities on human observers; clinical experiences with computer-aided diagnosis and direct-digital mammograms; computerized detection of lesions missed by mammography; detecting abnormal densities in mammograms by comparison to previous screenings; and the quantitative analysis of mammographic lesions.
