Program Description:
This symposium was specifically designed for radiologists with special interests in breast
imaging and interventional breast procedures. Didactive and interactive workshops are blended
with emphasis on advanced interpretative film reading, hands on procedural biopsy performance, and
detailed analysis of radiologic/pathologic correlation... While the program is especially
planned for radiologists, there is much offered to enhance the knowledge of both technologists and physicists as well.
There will be a 3000 NOVA and OPDIMA with Stereotactic Biopsy on site for an
Interactive Workshop, that Dr. Paredes will be conducting. Ethicon Endo Surgery will also be attending
with the Mammotome for a "hands on demo".
